Application Process – Riverdale World School Mahasamund

The application process begins each October. We invite prospective parents to fill up our online Inquiry Form to visit us for a school tour or Open House. Applications to all grades Nursery through 12th are accepted online as well as offline from late September through mid-July, and admissions decisions are communicated to applicant families as soon as the formalities are done.

We learn more about each applicant by one-on-one interaction with the student and his/her parents. Transcripts and additional information are also collected for applicants to Preprimary grades and further.

Steps in the Admission Form

Submit Inquiry Form: Submit details online through our Inquiry Form at no cost. Applications to all grades Nursery through 12th are accepted from late September through mid-July.

Complete Student Visit: Student visits for all grade levels can be conducted virtually as well as physically. Throughout the admission season, the Admissions Office will be in touch with families to schedule visits as well as provide more information.

Prospectus and Registration: The Prospectus and Admission Form can be obtained from the admission desk on payment of the requisite amount by hand or post. A duly filled Admission Form which is available from the school office is to be submitted with a non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee within 7 days from the date of issue of form or the last date given.

Interaction: There will be a direct admission procedure for Nursery to Std VIII students on the first come first serve basis & student interaction/counselling. There is a one-on-one Interaction of applicant along with his/her parents with the Principal of the School for better understanding. The children who have registered for Class IX and upwards have to appear for an admission test which may be written or oral as laid down by the School.

Admission Approved: After confirmation of admission, parents/ guardians are required to pay the requisite fees. The admission letter will be issued from the Admission office which indicates the confirmation of admission. In case of discontinuing the studies, the school fees paid will not be refunded. Required Documents: Birth certificate (For Nursery, PP-I & PP-II), copy of mark-sheet of last examination (Duly attested), 2 passport size color photographs and others specified in Admission Form.

Sumbit Transfer Certificate ( For Applicants to LKG - 12th ): Request your child’s original transfer certificate from the current school and submit it to the Admissions Office.

Withdrawal of Admission:The admission is meant for one complete session i.e. 1st April to 31st March in case of withdrawal, a formal written notice must be submitted one month in advance to the principal. If a student leaves the school in the middle of the term, he/she is liable to pay the fees and dues for the entire session. Leaving certificate, any other certificate, and mark-sheet will be issued only after the payment of such dues.

Who can Apply ?

Kindergarten: Is a major entry year at Riverdale World School Mahasamund. Each year, we welcome 25 new preprimary students in each section. To be eligible, a child should be 2 and a half years old at the time of admission.

In Primary: Through 12th Grade, there are typically 25 to 40 spaces available for new students each year; however, this number fluctuates based on attrition.
